![]() Two of the best shops to use for this currently are the staff shop and the rune shop so players should start there. For this method, players will go around the shops in Varrock and purchase their items and then take them to the grand exchange and sell them for more than they spent on them. This method takes advantage of the fact that prices in the shops around the world are often different than the prices at the grand exchange. The grand exchange is a place located in north Varrock where players can buy and sell almost any item in the game to other players. One is from specific shops placed all throughout the world, and the other is from other players using the grand exchange. There are two ways that players can purchase items in Old School Runescape. So many ways to make money, but it depends on GE prices.Taking Advantage of the Shops Around Varrock - Available to Everyone You can tan leathers (I think up to green or blue dhide) check first and check the difference in prices on AH. Every one of these places (as long as the weapon is NOT off hand) has weapons that sell for much more on GE than you can buy them for - NOTE: these are fairly slow selling items, so keep that in mind. You can vendor hop and buy black/mithril/addy weapons and shield then resell on GE (Falador has a mace/shield shop, Varrock has a sword/shield shop, Lumby has an axe shop, Al Kharid has a scimitar shop). You can merch items that are fairly cheap and are quick sellers (bars, runes, unf arrowtips, etc). always best to try and high buy those items to see the real price people selling for. You can read the full text of the rules here.Īs a F2P player, there are a variety of methods If you're skilling, then you can either mine (runite/luminite), smith (usually rune items are most profitable, but particularly unf arrows/bolts/throwing knives) Sometimes the item lists on GE for less than you can sell it for.
